359 Biomaterials: Graduate Student Award Session

Description:
This session will honor graduate students whose research achievements, in the broad area of biomaterials, demonstrate a high level of excellence. Interested students should submit an abstract to the area 8b session of interest and the same abstract to this session. Finalists will be selected to present their work a second time in the award session. At the end of the session, judges will determine 1st-3rd place for which awards will be given. To be considered for the award session, students must submit a copy of their abstract to this session by the abstract submission deadline through the online portal AND an application packet via e-mail to aiche8bgradaward@gmail.com. To submit a duplicate abstract to this session, please include "Graduate Student Award Session:" in front of your title. The system does not allow the same abstract to be submitted multiple times. Application packets must include the following components in PDF format: 1) CV, 4 pages or less 2) AIChE 2020 abstract submitted online 3) One first-author, refereed research publication (published or in press). Reviews or submitted research manuscripts will not be considered. 4) One letter of recommendation e-mailed directly by the applicant's PhD advisor.
