We report a new approach for catalytic photoprotection of organic matter in the presence of UV radiation. We demonstrate the approach to slow down the photodegradation of organic dye in the presence of TiO2 P25 photocatalyst in aqueous dispersion, and present characterization evidence for the catalytic nature of the photoprotection. We discuss the promise of this approach for several applications.
