Description:
This session will focus on sustainable bioprocess development for production of value-added products from agricultural commodities, residues, and food processing wastes. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, beneficial use of biomass or biowastes, novel bioreactor design and integration with down-stream processing, improved methods of separation and product purification, water and energy minimization in food and bioprocessing, and other process innovations that make food and biochemical production more efficient or sustainable.
