41 Nanorods and Nanowires: Synthesis, Processing, and Applications

Sunday, November 13, 2016: 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Golden Gate 7 (Hilton San Francisco Union Square)
This session will address nanowire synthesis strategies using vapor phase, solution, electrochemical, and template-based techniques and characterization methods, including imaging and in-situ studies of growth. The session will also solicit papers dealing with modeling aspects of nanowire growth and structure-property relationships. Finally, paper discussing use of nanowires in electronic, optical, optoelectronic and biological applications will also be included and discussed.
