644 Lithium and Beyond: Fundamental Advances in High Performance Batteries II

This symposium will focus on advanced battery systems beyond traditional lithium ion technology. These systems, such as lithium batteries with advanced anodes or cathodes, sodium batteries (ion or metal) and magnesium batteries can provide unique performance and cost advantages. Of particular interest are fundamentals of operation and materials for anodes, cathodes and electrolytes. Both modeling and experimental studies are solicited.
