Description:
This session intends to cover the state-of-the-art in mammalian, plant, algal, insect and bacterial cell culture toward the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, vaccines and high-value secondary metabolites. Topics for this session focus include, but are not limited to, cell line development and engineering, genomic, transcriptomic, metabolomic and proteomic analysis, high throughput cell culture screening systems, development of scale-down bioprocess models, and the development of mathematical models towards prediction and control of cell culture behavior on small and large scales.
