Optimizing process manufacturing in an innovation economy is critical both academically and industrially. Companies must design innovative products and operate processes efficiently to compete. Spanning the value creation life cycle is R&D, conceptual design, basic engineering, equipment design, economics, procurement, deployment and continuous improvement in manufacturing. This session is to address the critical issue of integrated process engineering in development, scale-up, and commercialization and manufacturing operation for disruptive technologies.
