Description:
This session emphasizes recent advancements in Integrated Biorefinery design for production of valued added chemicals, materials, fuels and more. In particular contributions are encouraged in the following aspects of integrated biorefinery research from process concept development to flowsheet synthesis and design as well as strategies for biorefinery operation and optimization. In particular, scholarly discussions on novel integrated biorefinery concepts, techno-economic analysis, multi-criteria sustainability analysis, uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, economic risks of integrated biorefineries against market price fluctations as well as impact of low oil era on the competitiveness of integrated biorefineries.
