Be an Engineering Detective--Technical Assessments for Process Licensing

Licensing of chemical process, equipment, and catalyst technologies is an important part of the chemical manufacturing business. For each technology there can be multiple providers to select from. We will explore methods of how to evaluate them. Questions about how to find the "best" technology, or "lowest cost" technology are nontrivial to answer and much work needs to be done to get accurate and confident answers. Throughout the process we try to exercise risk reduction to potentially influence and improve the benefits of the plant and to identify any "Unproven" technology.
