Research Interests:The prediction of kinematic viscosities are useful for discussing the separation processes.

Teaching Interests:Eyring-activity coefficient models are useful for predicting kinematic viscosities.

Liquid kinematic viscosity is one of thermophysical properties for deigning and/or optimizing chemical processes. A number of predictive methods for determining kinematic viscosities of liquid mixtures have been proposed in the textbook [1]. In the predictive methods, a model based on the Eyring’s absolute rate theory could be useful from a practical point of view [2, 3].

In this paper, we describe the predicted values of liquid kinematic viscosities for ternary systems using binary kinematic viscosity data. Then we describe the predicted values of liquid kinematic viscosities using the cubic equations of state (SRK and Peng-Robinson) + GEmixing rules (MHV1[4] and Wang-Sandler) with Eyring-activity coefficient (Wilson, NRTL, and Redlich-Kister) and the ASOG-VISCO models [2].
