One of the granulating methods for multicomponent particle is spray drying. It is generally known the spray drying produces the homogeneous structure in the composite. In some cases, it is desirable the segregation in the composite takes place. We focused on the surface tension during drying process. Experimental approach and simple simulation are carried out to confirm the effect of the primary particle size on the composite structure during drying. Some experimental and simulation results will be presented.
