629 Advances in Metabolic Engineering and Bioinformatics for Biofuels I: Strain Optimization

This session will cover recent developments in strain optimization for improving titers and yields of fermentation products. Targets may be biofuels or biobased chemicals. Relevant methods used in these efforts may include protein engineering, pathway engineering, cellular-scale engineering, synthetic biology and model-based approaches.
