190 Beyond Lithium: Fundamental Advances in High Performance Batteries

Monday, November 9, 2015: 3:15 PM - 5:45 PM
251C (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
This symposium will focus on advanced battery systems beyond lithium ion technology. These systems, such as lithium batteries with advanced anodes or cathodes, sodium batteries (ion or metal) and magnesium batteries can provide unique performance and cost advantages. Of particular interest are fundamentals of operation, materials for anodes, cathodes and electrolytes, and studies (modeling or experimental).
