251C (Salt Palace Convention Center)
Description:
This session will feature invited speakers who will cover fundamental concepts of electrochemical engineering, review commonly used and advanced electroanalytical techniques, describe current and emerging electrochemical applications, and discuss the education of students in these important areas. These talks will serve as tutorials for both beginners and more experienced engineers and educators. Special emphasis will be placed on providing an overview of electrochemical techniques, educational strategies, processing tools, systems and fabrication methods, and their appropriate use for a wide variety of applications. Applications of interest range from energy storage and conversion to electrochemical behavior in complex biological systems.
