319 Special Session: To Celebrate Prof. John Chen's Career Long Accomplishments

Tuesday, November 10, 2015: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
254B (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
Prof. John Chen has been a key figure in the field of fluidization. His contributions towards transport phenomena in multi-phase systems including heat transfer mechanism, particle custering phenomena and fluid-particle flow measurement techniques are groundbreaking and have significantly influenced the research directions in the field. He has also been a strong leader as well in the educational front of fluidization and fluid-particle systems. This session will be accepting invitation-only papers honoring John Chen's numerous contributions in the field of fluidization and fluid-particle systems.
