613 Sustainable Biorefineries for Municipal Solid Waste Conversion to Renewable Fuels and Chemicals

This session will serve as a forum for research on the utilization of municipal solid wastes as substrates for the generation of renewable fuels and chemicals with the goal of contributing to sustainable solid waste management reduction of landfill disposal via sustainable recycling and reuse applications. Presentations on biological, biochemical, chemical, or thermochemical technologies for waste-to-energy or chemicals conversion are invited. Other topics of interest in this session include techno-economic and life cycle analyses of waste-to-energy, chemicals, or materials conversion technologies.
