578 Characterization of Composites

Wednesday, November 11, 2015: 3:15 PM - 5:45 PM
251E (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
This session welcomes papers that investigate structure-property relationships in composite materials relevant for a wide range of applications in packaging, sustainable energy, environment remediation and biomedical hybrids. We seek contributions that study the effect of structural features on mechanical, thermal, electrical, optical, and other physical properties, as well as papers specifically focusing on innovative characterization techniques that probe the multi-dimensional structure of composites and/or one of more aspects of the relationships.
