150 Life Cycle Analysis of Bio-Based Fuels, Energy, and Chemicals

Monday, November 9, 2015: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
257B (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
This session invites abstracts dealing with "cradle-to-grave" environmental life cycle assessments of bio-based fuels, energy and chemicals derived from biological feedstocks. Greenhouse gas emissions are of particular interest but other impacts such as water use / quality, biodiversity, ecosystem and soil health are relevant. Effects on LCA results of study assumptions and methods such as system boundary, data source, and allocation are welcomed.
