218 Nanomaterials for Thermal-to-Electric Conversion

Monday, November 9, 2015: 3:15 PM - 5:45 PM
251F (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
More than 80% of current world energy needs are met through fossil fuels and more than 60% of this energy is released to the environment as "waste heat". Recent efforts to convert either solar-thermal or waste heat energy into electricity will be presented here, along with present challenges and opportunities.
