With the release of Chemical Engineering AppSuite (the “ChemE App”) for iOS in 2012, we have endeavored to put truly useful and powerful chemical engineering, chemistry and math tools on smartphones and tablets.  Over the past 3+ years, our app has been launched over 300,000 times on nearly 50,000 devices in 175+ countries.  In this talk, we will discuss the features of the app that have proved most popular and how the use of this app facilitates problem solving in the classroom and in the workplace.  Focus will also be given to where and how the app is used worldwide, with surprisingly high adoption and regular use in some unexpected locations.  Finally, we will briefly discuss new app features and future opportunities.
