Today a lot is coming over the transom as entrepreneurs are flooding the world with business plans and ideas for start-ups.  Investors, as well as potential partners and employees need a rapid method to identify those businesses worth a further look and to succinctly identify areas for growth for those businesses not yet ready for investment.  This challenge is complicated by the wide variety of businesses being created that operate with different business models and plans for multiple industries.

A simple, rapid score sheet methodology will be presented that quantifies the way investors think.  This will be presented with examples and appropriate weighting of factors so that readiness can be quantified and compared to other startups competing for investment, talent and opportunities. Common business sense and judgment will be merged with quantification.  Examples and evaluations will be given for the dimensions that are scored with the methodology
