Sage Math - an Open Source Computer Algebra System

The choice of a programming language and software package is always a major consideration when planning a course on computational methods in chemical engineering.  Feature set, ease of use, extensibility, external adoption, and cost should all play a role in the decision.  In this presentation I will make the argument that when it comes to software, the best things in life are free.
