Pneumatic conveying at high temperatures depends on the effects of temperature on the particles and the wall alike.  Materials such as coal, char, ceramics and steel can show unique behaviors with temperature.  Phase changes and chemical reactions can make the operations a challenge.  Some design guidelines will be presented for troubleshooting such systems.  A large system design will be presented.
