In this study, test cells with needle-to-solid configuration were manufactured for the generation of multi-point negative corona discharge. Solar energy will be the final energy resource to active this process. Both dry and wet CO2 were used as reactant respectively and can be converted within these test cells. However, the products are different for these two cases: CO and O2 can be generated for dry CO2 reduction, while CH4 is the third product for wet CO2 reduction except CO and O2. Mean residence time and fraction of bypass area have been studied. Increase of mean residence time and decrease of fraction of bypass area favored the conversion of CO2.
