Graphene has exceptional electronic, mechanical and optical properties of relevance to sensing applications. In order to create three dimensional curved and flexible sensors we describe the use of strain engineering in graphene/SU-8 bilayers to form curved and folded sensors and discuss applications as stimuli responsive materials, electronic and optical sensing.
