In the West, there is a common but incorrect stereoptype about the lack of innovation and innovation skills in China. In reality, Chinese engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs can innovate and invent remarkably well, though there are some cultural barriers that can reinforce old stereotypes and hinder productivity when Western managers work with Chinese teams. Here we will share experiences in innovation and provide critical guidance to help Western companies and managers tap the innovation power of Chinese partners and associates.
