Description:
This session seeks papers that describe studies that involve the design and manipulation of nanoscopic structures of biomaterials for tissue engineering applications. This session broadly encompasses the synthesis, processing and characterization of materials where the nanoscale structure is germane to the material's function. Both experimental and theoretical works are welcome. Bionanotechnology Graduate students: By applying to this session you may be eligible for the 22b Bionanotechnology Graduate Student Award Session (22B10) established to honor students whose research achievements in bionanotechnology demonstrates a high level of excellence. See session 22B10 for more details.
