617 Biomolecules at Interfaces I

Thursday, November 20, 2014: 8:30 AM
208 (Hilton Atlanta)
Description:
This session will focus on experimental and theoretical studies of interactions between interfaces and biomolecules like peptides, proteins, glycans, and nucleic acids among others. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to: chemical reactivity and biofunctional behavior, adsorption, desorption, diffusion, conformational change, aggregation, and self-assembly in which the interface plays an important role.
