52 Cell Culture I: Process and Media Design

Monday, November 17, 2014: 8:30 AM
206 (Hilton Atlanta)
Description:
This session intends to cover the state-of-the-art in mammalian, plant, algal and insect cell culture toward the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, vaccines and high-value secondary metabolites. Topics for this session focus on experimental methods which include, but are not limited to bioreactor design, media development, and improvement of product yield or quality through process optimization, process characterization and control.
