Description:
By imitating the composition, structure, formation and function of natural materials, a increasing number of novel membranes have been prepared with exceptional properties such as hierarchical organizations, multiple selectivities, superior stability/resistance and distinct stimuli-responsibility. These membranes have made and will make great contributions to the sustainable innovation of membrane processes and membrane technology, have found and will find important applications in energy, water, environment, human health areas, etc. This session will welcome those researches which focus on membranes and membrane process with distinct biomimietic and bioinspired attributes.
