645 Nanomaterials for Thermal-to-Electric Conversion

Thursday, November 20, 2014: 8:30 AM
International 4 (Marriott Marquis Atlanta)
Description:
More than 80% of current world energy needs are met through fossil fuels and more than 60% of this energy is released to the environment as "waste heat". Recent efforts to convert either solar-thermal or waste heat energy into electricity will be presented here, along with present challenges and opportunities.
