720 Carbon Based Nano-Structured Membranes

Thursday, November 7, 2013: 3:15 PM
Union Square 2 (Hilton)
Description:
Research activities on membranes based on carbon nanotubes, graphene and other nanostructured carbon are burgeoning. These include experimental and simulation studies which is paving the way for development of next-generation membranes for desalination and gas separation applications. The session solicits either experimental or simulation based papers on the development of membrane materials, studies on transport phenomena and their applications.
