715 Biobased Materials

Thursday, November 7, 2013: 3:15 PM
Golden Gate 1 (Hilton)
Description:
This session seeks presentations focused on recent advances and cutting edge developments in the synthesis, engineering, preparation and application of biobased materials. Topics related to the design, construction and characterization of protein/nucleic acid/biopolymer materials and their applications in biosensors, drug delivery, and tissue engineering are of particular interest. New methods for efficient production and isolation of natural and new emerging biobased materials and their potential uses are also welcome.
