One of the goals of process development for chemical manufacture (either for Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, Fine-chemicals, or Energetics etc)  generally involves identification of  an economical and viable route to the target compound, followed by scale-up efforts to manufacture quantities of the desired product.  Leveraging the right tools can dramatically reduce the time and resources needed to successfully achieve these goals.  Several case studies and applications highlighting important time-saving tools and approaches through process development will be presented.
