Monday, October 29, 2012: 3:15 PM
331 (Convention Center )
Description:
The toxic effects of trace inorganic contaminants in water are well known. Increased stringent environmental regulations pertaining to discharges containing the trace contaminants necessitate the development of the technically and economically feasible processes for the removal of the trace elements. The session in this theme will cover the cutting edge treatment technologies to meet low level effluent concentrations for metals, metalloids, and perchlorate.
