748 Electro-Separation: Government, Academia, and Industry Collaborative Efforts In Brackish Water Desalination

Thursday, November 1, 2012: 3:15 PM
402 (Convention Center )
Description:
An overview of the session: The session is going to go through recent advancements in the area of Electro-separation desalination research, that has been accomplished by collaboration of academia, government, and industry. Achievement to very high super-saturation levels for some salts in the concentrate stream of EDR desalination process, and high salt removal rate in a single stage EDR pilot scale unit are some of the highlights of the session.
