330 (Convention Center )
Description:
Climate Change Law and Policy were impacted greatly in 2011 and 2012 by the many developments, including COP17 - 17th Conference of the Parties, 2011, Durban, South Africa, resolution of legal challenges to the U.S. EPA's Clean Air Act Greenhouse Gas Regulation, and California's AB32 Cap-and-Trade statute. Closely related to these developments are the global sustainable development mandates now adopted around the world, which will have significant impacts on purchasing and sourcing materials for engineering projects. This panel session will review all the recent legal and regulatory developments in the area of climate change and sustainable development.
