The new millennium brings many challenges to the forest products industries in the United States due to competitive forces unleashed by increased globalization. One of the most important strategies to effectively compete in the global environment is by creating novel and value-added products through innovation. This session will focus on the new product development, innovative utilization/application and creative process technologies of the forest product.
