469 Bench to Bedside to Business: Translation of Biomedical Technology

Description:
This session will summarize the pathways to translate biomedical technology from the bedside arising from insights and observations of clinical need to the bench through an engineering prototype and in vivo feasibility, with the ‘productization’ of the developed technology and introduction to the bedside (patients) by a business, usually a start-up.
