262 Biophysical Behavior of Pharmaceutical Proteins in Processing, Storage and Delivery Environments I

Tuesday, October 30, 2012: 12:30 PM
Pennsylvania West (Westin )
Description:
Processing, storage and delivery can subject pharmaceutical proteins to physical and chemical stresses, decreasing biological activity. In this session we will explore both the biophysical characterization of pharmaceutical proteins in process-, storage- and delivery-relevant environments and processing-, formulation- and protein engineering-based manipulation of biophysical behavior to preserve biological activity in these environments.
