Advances In Cell Culture IB: Experimental

Monday, October 17, 2011: 12:30 PM
M100 I (Minneapolis Convention Center)

Description:
Overview: This session intends to cover the state-of-the-art in mammalian, plant, algal and insect cell culture toward the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, vaccines and high-value secondary metabolites. Topics for this session focus on experimental methods which include, but are not limited to, cell line development and engineering, genomics, metabolomics and proteomics analysis, high throughput cell culture screening systems, media development, bioreactor design and operation scale-up and scale-down methodologies, improvement of yield recombinant protein or vaccines yield through process optimization, process characterization and control.
