Simulation Tools for Chemical Product Design

Tuesday, October 18, 2011: 3:15 PM
Marquette IV (Hilton Minneapolis)

Description:
Computer aided tools play an important role in the task of product design and they are slated to become increasingly important in the future. This session invites papers describing the development and application of novel simulation tools for the design of products in the chemical process industry. The scope is not limited to products within a particular domain or with specific properties (such as green product design). Rather, papers from a wide application domain are sought and encouraged. The scope also includes papers that describe the use of simulation tools supporting experimental studies in product design. Novel applications of existing tools that open potentially new areas of research will also be considered. Contributions from industries are also encouraged.
