Design of Sustainable Processes

Wednesday, October 19, 2011: 12:30 PM
102 C (Minneapolis Convention Center)

Description:
Incorporating sustainability in process design and development is becoming important. This session therefore invites papers describing novel state of the art methodologies of process design and development targeting sustainability of chemical processes. Also included within the scope are new applications of existing methodologies in upcoming areas of chemical engineering. Authors are encouraged to present work that incorporates and highlights all three dimensions of sustainability (economic, environmental and social). Industrial applications of design methodologies are also encouraged.
