Reactive Extractions

Monday, October 17, 2011: 8:30 AM
202 A (Minneapolis Convention Center)

Description:
This session brings together representatives from academia, industry, and government who utilize reactive extractions in a wide range of applications. Papers focused on the application of chemical engineering fundamentals to reactive solvent extractions, including chemical thermodynamics, reaction mechanisms and kinetics, and mass transfer phenomena are strongly encouraged. Topics relevant to the separation of heavy metals, radioactive materials, and associated processes will be given special consideration.
