Primary Recovery In Bioprocessing

Tuesday, October 18, 2011: 12:30 PM
205 D (Minneapolis Convention Center)

Description:
This session addresses primary recovery in the downstream processing of biomolecules. Examples include settling, centrifugation, microfiltration, deep bed filtration, expanded bed capture, two-aqueous-phase partitioning, and other processes designed to capture target biomolecules from fermentation and culture media.
