Historical Perspective On Consumer Goods

In the consumer products industry, convenience for the consumer motivates a lot of innovation.  Over the years, detergents have become multifunctional, stain removers have become sprays or foams, and packaging for household cleaners has evolved to provide more convenience to the consumer.  Historically, it is apparent how products have slowly changed as consumers began to prefer easier to use and multi-purpose goods.
