Exhibit Hall B (Minneapolis Convention Center)
My PhD research focused on two contiguous subject areas. One was controlled polymerizations and enzymatic polymerizations in heterogeneous media via batch and continuous processes. The other was the design, synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials, such as polymer latexes and novel aminosilica materials for the enhanced capture of CO2 from anthropogenic sources. My postdoctoral training has expanded my experience on the development of new nanoparticle-ionic materials, mesoporous materials and organic-inorganic hybrids. My recent research is focusing on nanostructured composites for CO2 capture and energy related applications.
