Plenary session for the 25th Congress of the Interamerican Confederation of Chemical Engineering. This lecture is in memory of James Y. Oldshue who was an important leader and supporter of the Interamerican Confederation. This lecture alternates between AIChE Annual meetings and Interamerican Congresses (which take place every two years).
