Biorefinery: Separation & Transport in Lignocellulosic Conversion Processes

Tuesday, November 9, 2010: 3:15 PM
150 C Room (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
This session will focus on the separation technologies deployed in biorefineries dealing with forest based biomass resources. These will include separation of lignocellulosic extracts, their properties, transport processes involved in the various process steps. Particular interest is in separations of fermentation products resulting from biorefinery operations.
