Description:
This session will cover the broad range of biomaterials resources, processing, properties and their uses. Examples of biomaterials include bioresource based polymers and biodegradable plastics. Bioresources include forest based lignocellulosic biomass and agricultural wastes. Bioprocessing includes blending and molding of bioproducts. Polymer composites and blends of biomaterials are of specific interest.
